MULTICODER AUTO SAMPLES v1.1
Organelle patch - hardware-tested on Organelle S2

An extended GNU GPL v3 revision of Multicoder 1.0 by t8r.

WHAT THIS REVISION ADDS

- Each AUX/footswitch recording is saved automatically as a new WAV file.
- Existing recordings are preserved instead of being overwritten.
- Turn the central Selector to recall the original sample or any recording.
- Press the Selector once to return to the Organelle system/patch menu.
- The highest-numbered recording is recalled automatically after a restart.
- A soft 180 ms note release reduces note-off clicks.

INSTALL

1. Unzip the download.
2. Copy the complete "Multicoder Auto Samples" folder into:
      Patches/Samplers/
3. On the Organelle, choose Storage > Reload.
4. Open Multicoder Auto Samples.

RECORD

1. Select the built-in microphone or the desired external input on the
Organelle. On Organelle S2, use its rear input-source switch to select
   the integrated microphone when required.
2. Hold AUX (or the footswitch), make the sound, then release it.
3. The recording is written immediately inside the patch as:
      recordings/sample-001.wav
4. Further recordings become sample-002.wav, sample-003.wav, and so on.

Storage > Save Patch and Save New Patch are not required for recordings.

RECALL

- Turn the central Selector left or right to choose ORIGINAL or a numbered
sample. The selected slot is shown on screen line 5.
- Press the Selector once to return to the Organelle system/patch menu.
- The last numbered recording is loaded automatically next time the patch
  starts.

PERFORMANCE KNOBS

1. Speed: place Knob 1 in the center until the screen says STOPPED.
2. Tune: changes pitch.
3. Start: selects the starting point/timbre in the sample.
4. Length: changes the analyzed section length.

The instrument remains four-note polyphonic. Maximum recording time is
30 seconds for each sample.

MANAGING RECORDINGS

- Do not rename or delete only one file in the middle of the numbered
sequence. The automatic counter expects continuous numbering.
- To clear all user recordings, close the patch first, then delete every
sample-XXX.wav file inside the recordings folder.
- sound.wav is slot ORIGINAL. This public release includes the original
demonstration sample distributed with Multicoder by t8r.
